Bright Anukani is a sensational youngster at Proline Fc known for his craftiness, dribbling and above all his amazing skills that make him a joy to watch.

This has earned him trust from Proline head coach Mujib Kasule to always include him on every Proline Fc match day squad.

Bright is a son to Charles Anukani and Nalukwago Teddy of Mukono district. He is the 3rd among 3 siblings from a family of not a big footballing back ground.

He is a former student at Citizen Parents primary school where he also began his football career and won the Buganda cup trophy for Primary schools.
After his primary, he joined London College Nansana for his O’level, while at the same schools he competed in the 2013 Airtel rising stars and won the Most Valuable player of the tournament.

He also won the 2015 MVP of the coca-cola Post primary qualifiers still at the same school.

Earlier this year he joined Dynamic Secondary School where he is currently sitting for his UCE final Exams.

He helped Dynamic s.s reach the quarter finals of 2017 Copa Cocacola national championships in Masaka where runners up St.Mary’s Kitende ejected them.

His school may have lost the quest of winning the championship but individually he was selected on the team of the tournament that traveled to Nairobi.

The gifted Bright Anukani featured for Butambala during the 2017 Masaza cup tournament and managed to assist on two goals in the 4 games he played.

However, Butambala did not progress past the group stages but the few games he played were memorable.

Having impressed on various occasions Proline Fc came calling for the new talent in Ugandan football and in this very year Bright Anukani signed with the Lugogo based side.

Before earning his competitive debut, Bright Anukani played for Proline in different friendly games and tournaments like the Philip Omondi Invitational tournament.

During the same tournament he managed to score 1 goal against KCCA Fc and 1 assist, guiding his team to the Philip Omondi Invitational triumph.

On 13th, October 2017 he earned his league debut during Proline’s 3-0 demolition of Mbarara City at Startimes Stadium.

After his debut Bright Anukani told www.SwiftSportsUg.com how he was delighted to have made his competitive debut,

“It was a great pleasure for me to have made my first appearance for the club and have always been working hard for this opportunity to come ever since i joined Proline”

“It’s now up to me to continue improving on my performances to increase my chances of playing regularly for the club.”

“Everyone has a dream but to achieve all you dream of, hard work is always key if you are to reach your goal.
Personally my dream is to one day play for the national side and help it during a major tournament.”

“If am to achieve this then i have to work tirelessly hard for it since you cannot get what you want without working for it”

“I also see my self playing professional football in Europe in future but as of now i have to cement a place in Proline Fc starting eleven,” said Anukani.

The Proline number 14 is among the crop of players expected to be considered for selection by the national U20 coach Matia Lule to take part in the forthcoming COSAFA championships that will be hosted in Zambia.
